About Simon Marčič

Simon is a born athlete, from an early age building his life around sports that bring him joy and satisfaction, from endless development and exceeding the limits of his own abilities.
He started his career as a BMX and downhill MTB racer, and his passion for two wheels eventually lead him into motorsports – initially to enduro and later into rallying.
In 2014, he took part in the Dakar Rally for the first time, which was his dream. Since then, he has raced in this legendary rally 10 times, and in 2024 he gained the title of the Dakar Legend. The Original by Motul category, in which he participates, is a real test of riding skill and endurance, as well as mechanic skills, because the competitors have no external support and are forced to fend for themselves.
As an active sportsman Simon never stops taking on new challenges, whether it’s taking part in extreme enduro competitions on his Dakar bike (Red Bull Romaniacs and Red Bull Erzbergrodeo) or testing new models of motorcycles in demanding off-road terrain.
A true passion for motorcycles is something you wanna share and this is why the Ride with the Legend company was born. It gives riders from around the world a unique opportunity to ride with Simon, drawing on his experience, regardless of whether they treat motorcycle riding as a hobby or they plan to start their adventure with professional motorsport.
